The Role
As Technical Product Manager, you bring our product vision to life!
Part of the Product & Engineering team and reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you execute the product vision and contribute to new product introduction processes at Skytree, whilst managing resources, tasks, deliverables and timelines across different work streams. Collaborating with different teams (engineering, product, commercial, marketing, operations to name a few), this central role plays a big part in executing the product roadmap and ensuring the product success.
Your tasks will include:
Ownership of technical product development projects, including hardware, embedded software and custom-made PCBs.
Contributing to the execution of our new product introduction roadmap in alignment with all stakeholders (internal and external).
Identifying and resolving issues and risks, and managing mitigation strategies.
Setting up and managing processes for planning, cost tracking, requirements specifications, and reporting.
Maturing internal collaboration processes between product engineering and other teams.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive project and product development documentation.
Requirements
BSc degree in Engineering (e.g. Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Systems, etc.)
3+ years of experience in product management in a technical environment, ideally with hardware and embedded software products.
Experience with new product development projects in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Hands-on experience with a variety of project management methodologies, including Agile.
Excellent and straightforward communication skills (in English).
Solid organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Flexibility, adaptability and a can-do attitude.
Ability to inspire, lead and motivate others, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency with project management software and related tools including but not limited to Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.
