This role is  based in Nashville and will involve business travel, primarily in North America but also occasionally in Europe.

THE ROLE

As a Carbon Solutions Technical Manager, based in our US office in Nashville, TN, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful integration of our technology into customer operations. You will be responsible for providing all necessary technical information, user manuals, technical presentations, installation guidance, and site preparation advice. Working closely with our Carbon Solutions sales team, you will support customer onboarding and assist with the transition from pre-sales to sales operations and field services and will provide ongoing support to customers as needed.

This position is part of the sales team and reports directly to VP Carbon Solutions Sales. You will be essential in ensuring a seamless integration experience, helping customers maximize the value of our products while fostering strong, long-term relationships.

Successful installation and integration of our technology is of key strategic importance to Skytree, as is providing our customers with exceptional service and support.  Your duties will include working closely with all stakeholders: customers, engineers, operations personnel, commercial teams, sales operations, field services  and installation companies to coordinate the successful deployment and ongoing support  of our technology.

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

  • Providing ongoing professional, technical support for customers throughout the sales process.

  • Acting as the Skytree technical expert for our Cumulus and Stratus units, to articulate the technical capabilities of Skytree’s products, representing Skytree toward potential customers and partners.

  • Supporting the carbon solutions sales team and resellers with all technical questions related to the Skytree products.

  • Managing, planning and overseeing the execution of customer installation projects from start to finish.

  • Ensuring seamless coordination and communication between our customers, engineers, operations, finance & legal, commercial teams, sales operations and services & installation contractors to plan and coordinate installation projects.

  • Leading qualifications at customer sites, planning the technical content of customer qualification tests and supporting customer tests on site.

  • Supervising the installation and commissioning of Skytree products with optimal performance and within the timeline and budget.

  • Developing innovative solutions to changing customer requirements.

  • Planning and allocating resources to meet project needs and deadlines.

  • Onboard customers in Skytree Services to activate monitoring and alerting and maintenance services.

  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and other project-related documentation.

  • Communicating project progress, risks, and issues to all stakeholders, and developing risk mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Collecting feedback from the market and sharing this with the tech teams.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with customer-facing customer success, sales support and/or project management experience in hardware deployment and its integration in industrial environments.

  • Experience and excellence in presenting technical information to any audience. 

  • Experience and excellence in creating text and visual content to support sales processes.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to build and nurture customer relationships.

  • A willingness to travel throughout the US and Canada as necessary to support and oversee DAC installations and our customers.

  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.

  • Experience with stakeholder management, including executives.
