THE ROLE

Skytree is well-positioned to be a true disruptor in the carbon tech space in the years to come. An essential part of our success will come from you, as Business Development Manager. You will support Skytree’s business development efforts in the EU and work closely with the US and EU Business Development Teams.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market reach, enhancing our presence, and driving revenue growth. This position requires an energetic and motivated individual who is eager to contribute to the company's success and experienced in relationship management and customer success. You will be on the front lines for Skytree, selling innovative and disruptive technology. The ideal candidate is persistent, hardworking, and resilient, thriving in a dynamic environment and never discouraged by challenges. Your efforts will be pivotal in establishing Skytree as a leader in the carbon tech industry. Regular travel to customer sites and tradeshows in the region can be expected.


YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

  • Identifying and qualifying leads through various channels, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media.

  • Managing and maintaining our CRM and pipeline data to drive sales in the EU region.

  • Conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities.

  • Collaborating with the business development team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.

  • Nurturing relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.

  • Providing support in creating proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.

  • Effectively communicating the value proposition of Skytree’s DAC products to customers.

  • Tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development efforts.

  • Maintaining clear and concise communication with team members and management.

  • Attending industry events and tradeshows as necessary.

  • Preparing and sending quotations to -potential- customers in consultation with the BD team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3-8 years experience in account management or relationship management preferably in the horti-business sector.

  • Experience with lead prospecting, deal development and deal closing.

  • Experience with CRM software for lead and opportunity activity tracking.

  • Strong interpersonal, and organization skills.

  • Fluency in English, Dutch is a plus.

  • You possess fast−learning skills and a high level of adaptability.

  • Experience in the carbon industry or agriculture industry is a bonus.

  • You are already based in the Netherlands within commuting distance to Amsterdam.
