THE ROLE

We are now looking for a proactive, energetic Accounts Payable Associate to be part of our small, international, and friendly Finance team. Initially a 7 month fixed-term contract, this role has a lot of scope to grow and develop with the business with an eventual possibility of a permanent contract. You will work closely with our Financial & Control Specialist and support our Head of Finance and CFO, making it a great opportunity to get exposure to all things finance and develop on the job.

YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

  • Order processing and purchasing

  • Organization and booking of incoming invoices

  • Preparation and processing of payments

  • Reconciliation of accounts and statements

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all payment enquiries

  • Managing all financial incoming enquiries and invoices

  • General day-to-day administration

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You have 3-4 years of experience in Finance and / or Administration, and know your way around VAT and BS reconciliation.

  • You are fluent in English, spoken and written, and have some basics of Dutch (A2).

  • You possess solid organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • You are proactive, adaptable and have a can-do attitude.

  • You thrive in a busy environment and can multitask.

  • You live in the Netherlands within commuting distance to Amsterdam.
